Nina has a brother!

We've only been moved into our new house for a week, but we decided to add another member to the Cristman family. Meet Nixon! Nixon was found in a cardboard box (not by us) with his two sisters at around six weeks old. The lady who picked him up said the litter was covered with fleas and all were so so skinny...so she took them to the vet, gave them special baths and tried to fatten them up. So, how did we find him? Well, my brother has the strangest sleep schedule -- he sleeps half the day, wakes up in the middle of the afternoon, goes to work, and then comes home at 11pm, eats dinner, and stays up until 7am or so. We're trying to break him of this, but it's a work in process. Anyway, I came downstairs one morning to find the computer open and a page up on Craig's List (under the pet section) advertising a fish tank (Adam and Brian had been talking about how it'd be cool to have a big fish tank in the house). I closed the page and glanced at the pet listings and found an ad about rescued boxer puppies. Don't ask me how this happened, but I ended up scheduling a time to go see the boxers. Poor Adam had the longest day of work and was not exactly thrilled with me, but he complied to go see the puppies. We all fell in love and ended up coming home with this adorable little boy boxer. At first, Nina didn't care too much for him, but she's warming up to him. They've started playing together and cuddling a little bit. Here's a few pictures of the boy with Nina (hasn't she grown!).

We're officially home-owners

This morning we signed a million legal papers and we picked up our KEY!!! We'll be spending pretty much the whole weekend packing/moving so wish us luck!

Brian's here!

My brother Brian has moved in with Adam and I! We are so excited to have him here. I know Adam's excited to have another guy around to play video games with and I'll be happy to have him help us move!
